We photographed a wedding in one of our favorite cities, New Orleans, in one of the most stunning and highly sought venues, Hotel Peter and Paul. If you’ve never been to New Orleans, there is something about the city that touches your soul. The character and uniqueness that the city brings, draw people in. And the venue Hotel Peter and Paul doesn’t spare any detail between the tall linen drapery, Cathedral ceilings, and the overall robust European vibe.

The Designer

The bride, Macye, who is an incredibly talented wedding dress designer for the brand Cinq, designed 7 dresses to wear during her wedding week. Four of which she wore on her wedding day.

Family

The groom, Collin, who is a well-respected architect in Los Angeles, is my brother-in-law. And ever since I’ve known Collin, there was Macye. And I’ve thoroughly enjoyed watching their relationship flourish. Through college and graduate school. From Gainsville. To New York. To Boston. and LA. And since the very beginning, they have been each other rock.

And to be able to photograph such a monumental time in their lives was such a gift and blessing. Definitely will go down in the books as a favorite as these two are family and have a very special place in my heart.
