July 29, 2020

I'm a natural light photographer who enjoys capturing love stories all over the world—but  Pensacola, Florida is where I call home with my husband and two young children.

In the world of 2020, convenience is key! That is why you will see that many couples are choosing venues that are a one-stop shop. What does that mean exactly? It means that they simply book one venue for their ceremony, cocktail hour, AND reception. Why? There is a shorter or minimal commute, a seamless cocktail hour, you get to up-cycled decor, and better guest attendance.

Most venues have a courtyard and indoor space to accommodate in the case that weather may be an issue. But with The Carillon Meeting House, you would simply want to use their indoor space for both ceremony and dinner reception because it. is. STUNNING. The tall majestic ceilings and the clean walls leave it as a blank canvas for any bride to dream.

I recently photographed Ashley and Scott’s beautiful wedding at The Carillon Meeting House and worked with an A+ crew: A Wedding Collection and Shelby Peaden Events to put together their dream wedding within a month. A MONTH! (Why? Well, it IS 2020 and I think we can all understand.)

But man oh man, did these teams deliver. We walked away to photograph family portraits for 20 minutes and came back to The Carillon Meeting House as a completely different space.

Scroll down to see the transformation.

The TRANSFORMATION

How amazing is that ceremony to reception transformation? The tables with the stunning florals, the cake, the candles, the dinner plates, EVERYTHING! I couldn’t get over how hard these teams work to turn our client’s dream a reality. This Carillon Meeting House wedding couldn’t have been more perfect.

And on a side note, Thank you to Ashley and Scott for being the sweetest bride and groom. With all that is 2020, I was shocked to see a couple that was calm and appreciative (and SO IN LOVE) every step of the way. I wish you both all the happiness.

Cheers!
