New Orleans Elopement | Courtney + Campbell

When you have someone near and dear to your heart ask if you can photograph their wedding in New Orleans, the answer is always YES.

Two homes and 2 children later, they were engaged to be wed. And with Campbell’s grandmother in and out of the hospital, they wanted to expedite their celebration to ensure she was there to witness every moment, in her own courtyard. And after only a month of planning, everything turned out – perfect. They rented a historic New Orleans home for the entire family to stay in for the weekend, Courtney’s brother became ordained to marry them, her sister-in-law photographed their day (aka me), and her mother made her infamous carrot cake as their wedding cake. Their ceremony was set in between all the babies’ nap times, and they were set!

It was intimate.

It was emotional.

It was EVERYTHING and it showed.

While I love a wedding with beautiful intricate details, I cherish couples who value their family & joyful moments more.

Through the years, we witnessed true beauty and miracles with these two… and I love the life and family that they’ve created.
