Tara + Cameron | The Mill at Fine Creek | Richmond, VA

This year has been wild for everyone. And well, for Cameron and Tara – these past 2 years have been a whirlwind! They were originally supposed to get married in Florida in 2018, but due to job opportunities and a big move – they decided to postpone their wedding to June 2020 in Richmond, VA at The Mill of Fine Creek. And like every other 2020 bride, their wedding date had to be changed. AGAIN. 

So how about September 2020? Well, let’s just say – the third time was a charm. The day before their wedding, it was a scorching day with a 100+ degree heat index and we were all a sweaty mess during the rehearsal. Then, the wedding day came.  

The sun lit through the trees perfectly and I could hear the peaceful sound of the creek as I walked towards the venue. Average temp of 75 and all I could think was, “There was a reason why there were so many speed bumps because nothing can beat today.” 

Cameron and Tara wed in a gorgeous and historical mill before 40 close family and friends and it was intimate. It was surreal. Stunning to say the least. 

I’ve known Cameron for many years and when his fiancé, Tara, asked me to be their wedding photographer, I was beyond ecstatic! So Cameron and Tara – THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for flying me up for your wedding day. It was a trip that was much needed and O.M.G. was your wedding a GREAT FREAKING TIME! I had so much fun seeing the two of you, seeing familiar faces, and loved dancing the night away with everyone. Not even kidding when I say that it was the most perfect wedding day.
