The couples of 2020 never cease to amaze me. Alexis and Mark approached me and informed me that they were planning a wedding at Watercolor Inn resort in a month. A Month! They originally had planned a destination wedding in Hawaii, but of course, due to COVID it wasn’t happening. So a Watercolor Inn Wedding it was.

But as Mark had mentioned to me, they all felt that this wedding in Watercolor Florida was going to be what Alexis truly wanted as a wedding at home. All their favorite people were able to attend to witness a marriage alongside the most beautiful waters on the coast. And at the end of the evening, I looked around the Watercolor Lakehouse with their friends and family near, the candles lit and the most beautiful floral arrangements. I looked at Alexis and said, “I don’t think today could’ve gone any more perfect.” Everything just fell into place.

Alexis and Mark, I want to thank you both from the bottom of my heart for inviting and trusting me to capture priceless heirlooms during this season of your lives. I’d like to think that after our many conversations during the planning process, we grew a friendship for years to come.
